Death Cafe — October 12

At a Death Café people gather to eat cake, drink tea, and discuss death.  This is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, themes, or objectives.  It is a discussion group, not a grief support or counseling session.  Death cafés are respectful and confidential, with no intention of leading people to any conclusion or action.  Our Death Café will be facilitated by Amiessa Jutten, clinical social worker.

Saturday, October 12, 3:00 – 4:30 pm.

Participation is limited to 12; please register in advance at the library, or phone 970-249-9656.

The Death Café model was developed in England in 2011, and over 7500 events have been hosted worldwide since.  The organization’s website is deathcafe.com.
