Daycare Storytime
Daycare groups are welcome to this storytime featuring stories, songs and activities. Sign up at the Youth Services Desk, space is limited.
Crafternoon
Craftivism is using creativity to improve the world. The library’s Crafternoon club practices craftivism by crocheting and knitting items for charity. Crafters have made blankets for shelter animals, afghans for nursing homes and children’s charities, and hats and scarves for homeless shelters. All ability levels are welcome, and supplies are provided. Feel free to bring your own personal project to work on instead and enjoy the companionship of other crafters.
Donations of acrylic worsted or washable wool-blend yarn are always needed!
Crafternoon meets on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesdays every month, from 2:30 – 4:30, in the Montrose Library Meeting Room. For more information, please call Carla or Tania at 249-9656.
