Great Decisions Discussion Group – February 20

Great Decisions is a public policy discussion group co-sponsored by the Montrose Regional Library District and the Montrose County League of Women Voters.

The group meets from 6:30 – 8:30 pm for eight sessions, every Thursday evening from February 6 – March 26.  This year’s topics are: Climate Change and the Global Order; India and Pakistan; Red Sea Security; Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking; U.S. Relations with the Northern Triangle; China’s Road into Latin America; The Philippines and the U.S.; and Artificial Intelligence and Data.

The group follows a briefing book and video provided by the Foreign Policy Association.  Participation in the discussion group is free and open to the public.  A limited number of briefing books are available to purchase for $20.00 at the library, with two circulating copies available as well.  For more information, please call the library at 249-9656.
