The Friends of the Montrose Library is a nonprofit organization established to assist the Montrose Library.  Our goals are:

To promote the library in the community

To provide financial support beyond the library budget

To gain support for library improvement and advancement

To create public awareness of library services

To encourage gifts, endowments, and memorials

To sponsor cultural programs, events, and activities

To promote volunteer activities for the library
