Library Voices: Bill Sycalik – September 27

National Parks Marathon Project – A Personal Quest to Run 26.2 Miles in All 61 U.S. National Parks

Bill Sycalik is a former management consultant who quit the corporate life in New York City to reconnect with nature.  His goal:  to run 26 miles in each of America’s National Parks.  Two years into the nearly-completed project, Bill shares his insight into making life changes, and the importance of wilderness in our lives.  Bill will also highlight some of his favorite National Parks for trail running and exploring. Come hear Bill speak about his experiences on September 27, and join him for a trail run sponsored by the San Juan Mountain Runners at 8:00 on Saturday morning, September 28.
