Did you know that you’re never too old for summer reading fun?  The library has a program for grownups!  A Universe of Stories awaits you at the library beginning June 1.  Here’s what you need to know:

Register anytime in June & July in the library or online here.

Receive a free gift for signing up, and a Challenge Log to record your activities.

Read as you wish: print books, audiobooks, and ebooks, according to your preference.  Read for fun and read for edification.  Complete five Challenges to be eligible for the grand prize!

Attend special events, such as How We Conquered the Galaxy: The Development of Modern Science-Fiction from Pulp to Literature, with CMU English professor John Nizalowski on Wednesday, July 17, 7:00pm.

Win a Maggie’s Books tote bag filled with an “old books” scented candle, a set of handmade sci fi drink coasters, a Montrose Library mug, two tickets to any upcoming Magic Circle production, and a $20 gift card to Maggie’s Books.

Support and thank our sponsors: Friends of the Montrose Library, Magic Circle Players, and Maggie’s Books.

Take time for yourself this summer to explore A Universe of Stories, and remember what it’s like to read for fun!
