Are you looking for a way to enhance your cooking with some healthy and practical skills? You could join the library for our Cooking Classes! Every month a nutritional expert will deliver a presentation about new cooking skills.
This month Sasha Jacobo, a Food Security Coordinator from the Valley Food Partnership, will collaborate with Cooking Matters on a “Making Recipes Work For You” presentation. This will focus on substituting ingredients in recipes, practicing recipe frameworks, and sharing meals ideas that allow each family member to choose the ingredients of toppings they enjoy. Sasha will prepare Pasta with Beans and Greens as an example of how to use those skills.
