Pre-Teen Art & Science Club

Join us for art and science projects designed for older kids between 8 and 12 years.
Participants must be able to listen to instruction and have already mastered simple skills, such as using scissors, tools, markers, chalks, crayons, different types of glues, paints, and measuring. Projects will include detailed instructions and require patience and fine motor skills to complete.
No registration required; this is not a drop-in program. Arriving on time allows participants to hear all the instructions and complete projects within the hour.
Upcoming Projects:
June: Dinosaur Drawing–Learn to draw dinosaurs with Melody Brooke Safken, who specializes in Paleontological Art and Creature Design. Her work includes promotional art for the film Jurassic World, museum reconstructions, and businesses.
July: Metal Detecting with special guests from the Uncompahgre Treasure Club.
