now apply for their passports at the library.

Appointments must be made at least 24 hours
in advance in one of the following ways:

    • In person at the library
    • By phone at 970-249-9656, option 7

Passport photo services are also available
for a $10 fee per applicant.

Passport Hours:

  • Monday-Friday 10:00am – 5:00pm
  • Saturday – limited availability
Processing Times:

  • Routine: 10-13 weeks
  • Expedite: 7-9 weeks
These processing times do not include shipping. Expedited applications have a $60 additional fee per application.
Please be on time to your appointment. After 15 minutes, you will forfeit your time slot and must reschedule.

Beware of passport scam websites. Online passport forms can only be found at travel.state.gov and printed forms are available at the Montrose Regional Library, all for FREE.
