Floral Arrangement Facebook Contest
Show off your artistic talent, and compete for a prize, with the library’s Floral Arrangement Facebook Contest! We recommend attending Cynthia Alvarez’s virtual Floral Arrangement Presentation for pointers and instructions. Cynthia Alvarez is the Founder and Owner of Alpenglow Growers. You could also check out a number of the library’s books, including:

- The Flower Workshop: Lessons in Arranging Blooms, Branches, Fruits, and Foraged Materials by Ariella Chezar
This contest will take place from Wednesday, July 7 to Wednesday, July 21. You can enter by emailing a picture of your handmade bouquet to Taylor at tevans@montroselibrary.org. Each contestant may only enter one bouquet. Those bouquets will be judged by the library’s Facebook followers, and three winners will be announced on Friday, July 23. Each winner will receive 3 flower seed packets, and a $10 gift card to Alpenglow Growers that they could use towards a purchase of a bouquet, wreath, or Alpenglow Workshop.
